Overcoming barriers to renewable energy technologies in India

The project identified barriers to the penetration of renewable energy technologies (RETs) and specific measures to overcome them, through a case study in the State of Maharashtra.

The study involved various stakeholders such as manufacturers and customers of the RETs, experts, and policy-makers. Questionnaires were designed to elicit stakeholder responses regarding the nature of the barriers to RETs, their dimensions and importance, and possible ways to remove them. The report contains analysis of these responses.

The report is available for download in PDF format.
