| Technical support for NAPA
This project provided technical assistance for National Adaptation
Programmes of Action (NAPA) in two least developed countries. Assistance was
provided through:
 | Development, training and implementation of a ranking and screening
methodology for selecting adaptation projects (to be submitted as GEF
proposals) |
| Training in economic assessment of adaptation costs and benefits of
candidate projects |
| Development of example project profiles for The Gambia and Malawi |
Participants in the project were Stockholm
Environmental Institute, URC, University of Virginia / Miombo Network, and
Department of Water Resources, The Gambia.
