Institutionalisation of Green IPP Network in the ASEAN Region

The project aimed to:

bulletInstitutionalise the Green IPP Network in the ASEAN Energy Sector Network, particularly within the ASEAN New and Renewable Sources of Energy Sub-Sector Network
bulletExpand the Green IPP Network in the region through the organisation of National Green IPP Networks
bulletTransfer Green IPP knowledge and experiences between Europe and Southeast Asia, and among the ASEAN member countries, in the areas of policy instruments and regulations, project structures and financing approaches, and renewable energy resources and technologies.

The Green IPP Network comprise of 6 institutions in Asia and Europe: Malaysian Energy Center (Malaysia), University of the Philippines Solar Laboratory, Informatics Management Associates (Thailand), Risoe National Laboratory (Denmark), Energy Center of the Netherlands, and University of Karlsruhe, Institute of Industrial Production (Germany).

The institutionalisation project was co-financed by EC-ASEAN Energy Facility.
